National Police will upgrade to digital records
The National Police has signed an agreement with the National Authority for Government Innovation, through which the project “Paperless Panama” will be implemented.
The initiative will upgrade the entity into the digital age by ensuring that internal processes and communication with other government agencies are managed electronically.
What is sought by “Paperless Panama” is to facilitate the electronic processing of government services in an expeditious manner, thereby avoiding manual processes and the bottleneck of information between public agencies, according to a press release from the institution. Another objective is to facilitate the participation of citizens.
The agreement of understanding was signed by Gustavo Pérez, Director of the National Police, and Eduardo Jaén, Administrator of the National Authority for Government Innovation.
