Education is the central theme in the 20th Ibero-American of Heads of State and Government Summit regional conference being held in Argentina this year. Martinelli leads delegation to regional conference
President Ricardo Martinelli travelled yesterday to the city of Mar del Plata, Argentina, to participate in the 20th Ibero-American of Heads of State and Government Summit.
At the summit, Martinelli will be highlighting the planned improvements to the country’s education system, which will be accomplished through curricular transformation, strategic alliances, universal scholarships and the delivery of free school supplies.
Education will be a central theme throughout the conference, as its title is “Education 2021.”
The Panamanian delegation will also include Minister of the Presidency Jimmy Papadimitriu, Vice President Juan Carlos Varela, Minister of Housing Carlos Duboy and several Foreign Ministry officials. Minister of Education Lucy Molinar will not be attending.
