Trump developer to spend $6 million on beach club
The developers of the Trump Tower in Panama City will spend $6 million on a beach club for residents on Viveros Island in the Las Perlas archipelago.
The project is being financed by Newland International Properties, the developer of the Trump Tower, which is slated to begin issuing occupancy permits later this year. Originally, the beach club was slated for Contadora Island, but zoning rules forced the change.
The company has already begun construction on the project and it is expected to be completed by the third quarter of this year. Roger Khafif, president of Newland, indicated that there will be a floating pier built next to the tower to dock the boats that will take residents and guests to the beach club.
